So we've been having a pretty good winter so far. Hasn't been too cold. Actually, most of the days the sun is shining and stuff, only at night it gets a little cold. I guess you guys are already in school. Haha suckers. No, I'm just kidding, have fun.
So this week not much happened. We haven't really been finding a lot of new people to teach. I guess we'll just have to keep trying. I promise I'll have more for you guys next week. Miss you, chao.

So last Monday I turned 11 months in the mission. Actually, so did my companion, because we're from the same group. I've almost got a year, which is really hard to believe.
So we still haven't learned how to make bread. I know, it's really disappointing. We've had like 3 different people offer to show us how to make bread, but nobody has followed through. We still have hope, we'll keep trying. To make a long story short, Rodrigo didn't come to church this week. I don't know if he was tired, or sick or something, but he didn't want to go this week. I guess we'll just have to try again next week. We've been trying a new style of contacting, well not really contacting, but a style of thinking. We are trying to be everyone's friend. When you get right down to it, it's really fun. You get to meet lots of different people and you get to joke around a lot. We love it. We're gonna keep trying and working hard. I miss you guys! First of all, thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday. I really had a good one, my first birthday in a different country.
The most exciting thing that happened this week is that we found a member of the Church that works in a CHILEAN BAKERY!! We are really excited for that because he told us that he will teach us to make bread! For those of you that have never had chilean bread, you're really missing out. It is so delicious, and we are really excited to learn how to make it. Actually, now that I think about it, my companion is chilean, and he hasn't taught me to make bread. I guess I'm assuming that every chilean knows how to make bread, That would be like assuming that every American knows how to make every American food. Also, when people ask me what we eat in America, I usually say pizza and tacos. So as for investigators, I guess you could say that we don't have any! Haha, no but Pricila that was going to get baptized this week decided last minute that she didn't want to. Also Rodrigo is having a few problems, so we can't teach him right now. I guess we're looking for new investigators at this point. I guess all there is left to do is keep trying. Hope you guys have a great week! |
