Happy Halloween from Viña del Mar. I was actually really surprised to see how big Halloween was here. There were so many kids dressed up and running around asking for candy. This week was pretty good. We found some new investigators and also some inactive members that we had never been able to find before. We were teaching this one kid, his name is Samuel, and his mom was there. He told us he wanted to be baptized but he had to ask permission from his mom. His mom doesnt really like religion. We usually teach him at this grandmas house because he doesnt live in our boundaries, but anyway, we were teaching him at his grandmas house and his mom was there. We were teaching him the plan of salvation and his mom came over and started to tell us that she doesnt want her son to be influenced by God because he can be a good person with out a god. Then she went off on how all of the problems in the world are caused by religion and bad people and stuff. We decided to leave. Anyway, we had another Capillas Abiertas this week and this time we were in the baptismal font. We got to talk about baptism and answer questions. It was so fun! We havent had any baptisms yet, but you guysll be the first to know, kind of. I miss you all.
