Alright guys, this week has been great.
First of all, we got to talk to our moms! Really it was great. Only I would complain that 40 minutes is not long enough. That was the closest I think Ive been to not being obedient (haha, that was a joke). Also my friends Casey, Josh, Will and Hayden were there, so shoutout to them. We got to talk and laugh and joke just like old times. Sunday was great because of the Skype call, but also because our investigators Christian and Gabriela came to church. Their cousin is in our ward, so they really felt comfortable and they loved it! We found Christian on Thursday, and it was a really cool story. So on Thursday it rained all day. I mean ALL DAY. I usually love the rain, but as a missionary its kind of bad. So we were walking around trying to find people to talk to, when our district leader called. He gave us the challenge to find a new investigator despite the weather, so we went out with that determination to find a new investigator. We started knocking doors, or shouting doors as it is here, and basically nobody wanted anything. Still determined to find a new investigator, we kept shouting doors, and thats when we shouted at Christian's door. At first, he said he was too busy and said we could come back tomorrow, but as we were writing that down in our planners he yelled at us, "Come in!" Once we were inside he told us his cousin was a member and he had just got off the phone with him. He asked about us to make sure we were really missionaries, and then he let us in. We taught him and his wife Gabriela, and the both came to church. Honestly, the mission is great. To anyone thinking about whether or not they want to go on a mission, I've got your answer right here: DO IT. You wont regret it, and youll see so many miracles. Well thats all I've got to say for now, I miss you guys and I'll see you next week.
