So we got transfers again. Luckily I'm staying here in Las Americas, but my companion is going to Valparaiso. RIP Elder Valdes, he will be missed. Also, good news (or bad news, depending on how you look at it), I'm going to the be the new district leader! And if that wasn't enough, they told me that I'm going to train a new elder! I'm really excited for that. I loved training the last time and I'm really excited to train again.
So as for the investigators this week, we had an investigator named Gonzalo come to church. He's really wanting to change his life and he is so willing to do everything that we tell him. He's got a baptismal date for the 17th of September. We're gonna keep moving forward with faith. We had a family home evening with the Rivera family yesterday. We invited Gonzalo and we had a pretty fun time. At one point during the night I was trying to teach the littlest one, Isaac, a few word in English. I told him, "Say: miracle." He looked at me for a second and thought, and then finally said, "Mickey Mouse." It was really funny. I guess that's all for this week. See y'all next week
