Its been raining a lot lately. You can really tell when it rains here because everything shuts down. There's no one in the streets. Us as missionaries, we still go out, so its a bit harder, but that's just the way we like it.
First of all, Rosemary and Macarena didn't come to church this week. They couldn't come to church because Macarena's brother, Maximo, has a rare kidney disease, and he can't leave the house in conditions like that. But that's ok, because they went to church 3 times in a different ward, so all we have to do is teach them the lessons. Everyone is talking about the Confederation's Cup here. Chile played against Australia this Sunday, so with that and the rain, it halved our church congregation. It was pretty funny because there was this old guy sitting in the back and he pulled out his phone and started watching the game. We probably wouldn't have noticed, but he had the sound on. I guess after a few minutes he noticed that everyone was staring at him, so he left. You could also tell when Chile scored because everyone was silently cheering. Like I said, lots of water falling from the sky, makes for some treacherous terrain. But that doesn't matter for us. We also had some guy deliver us some completos and a churasco, which is basically like a completo, but instead of hot dog its beef. Its huge. Well thats all for now. I miss you guys. See you in 7 (days)
