So this week was really great. We had Zone Conference with Achupallas, and that means that I got to see 2 past companions, Elder Fausett and Elder Villanueva. I also got to see some really good friends, like Elder Bruderer and Elder Kwaleck. It was really fun, and we did lots of great stuff.
We also had a Ward Family Night. A lot of people actually came this one. It was great because we talked about General Conference, and everyone is excited for that. We played some great games and stuff. We've been finding a lot of haitians lately. For those of you that aren't familiar with the sitiuation here in Chile, there are a lot of haitians that are immigrating here. They love to talk to the missionaries, but they usually don't speak a lot of Spanish. That was the case with Hendel. He wanted to listen to us, but he didn't speak a lot of Spanish. We had to teach him in English, which was a little hard for my companion Elder Lapaz, because he's from Uruguay. But we did it and he liked the lesson. He was going to come to church, but his work called him in at the last moment. We also found another haitian, Peter. He speaks a lot more Spanish, so we're thinking about teaching Peter and Hendel together. But life's great here. I'm loving Chile. I guess that's all for this week.
