Hello all, hows it going?
First of all, its been hot in Belloto. And Elder Fausett and I have been walking A LOT. Weve basically been contacting all this week and weve found 5 new investigators! Were still not sure whos going to progress at this point, but its great to see all of our hard work paying off. Ill just tell you about the ones that I think are the best. One of our investigators is named Maria Isabel. She used to live in a different ward, but she just barely moved to Belloto. Shes really nice to us and she loves the missionaries. She was about to get baptized before, but she felt like it wasnt important and like it was going to be a big change in here life. We taught her about the Plan of Salvation and the necessity of baptism, and we will be working with her a lot more! Another one is named Rachel. She was Evangelica, but she wanted to talk to us. She doesnt think that there can be propehts on the earth, but we told her to read and pray about the Book of Mormon to know if what we said is true, and she seemed really interested in that. We will be working with her a lot more too! Anyway things are great here. I love the mission and I love my new companion. I hope all stays well with you guys!

Hey guys hows it going? All things are great here in Belloto. A lot of things happened this week.
First of all, my companion Elder Veloso left for his house this week. He will be missed dearly. So right now Im companionless so I get to stay with the zone leaders. Things should be great. Second, Im going to be training a new Elder this change! His name is Elder Faussetts or something like that, but more importantly he sounds gringo, which means I dont know if its going to be easy or hard to train him. Well see, but Im so excited! Third, we found a new invesigator. She is the mom of the 2nd councilor in the Bishopric. Shes talked with missionaries many times and comes to church every once an a while, but she doesnt really believe in the Book of Mormon. She very active in the Catholic Church, but were going to keep teaching her. Fourth, the fire is still raging in the south, but this week there was one really close to us. We werent in danger or anything, but it was cool to see the planes come and dump water. Dont worry I took pictures. Alright I miss all you guys and I hope you are all doing well. |
