Hello, long time
I'd just like to let you know that we survived transfers. I had to go to Viña to pick up my new companion, Elder Lapaz. He is from Uruguay, and is the first companion that I've had from that part of the world. He is a great missionary, and we are both learning together. We had an investigator that came to church. Her name is Marcela, and she really liked it. She said the next week she'll bring her daughter. I guess that's all. Miss you all.

So to keep things short, we got transfers this week. Elder Villanueva is going to Achupallas and he will be a district leader there. I'm going to stay here, but I'll be training a new missionary! This will be my third time training a new missionary. I'm actually really excited.
It's been pretty hard to get people to come to church, but this next week one of our investigators, Marcela, said that she wants to come to church. We are really excited for her, and we'll do everything to help here. She's got a daughter that's 8 years old, and I just know she'll love it in the Primary. Well, I guess that's it. miss you guys. This week was pretty good. We had zone conferences, and for some reason the Asistents planned a saftey training. They taught us all how to do CPR, and we all had to practice in front of everyone. It was pretty fun, just it took a while.
I heard that there's a heat wave coming to Chile. I don't know if that's true, but it has been pretty warm this week. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'll keep you all updated on transfers. We don't know what'll happen, but you'll be the first to know. Miss you all! This week has been great. We've just been doing our thing this week. And, how come nobody told me about the Super Bowl? I'm on a mission, not dead.
I've felt the Spirit a lot this week. You can always feel the Spirit when you testify. I felt the Spirit especially when I testified of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. We were talking to a lady that didn't believe in the Book of Mormon because she said she didn't need anymore of than the Bible. Elder Villanueva and I testified with all our hearts that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it would bless her life if she read it. I read 2 Nefi 33:10-11 to her and said if she really believed in Christ, then she would believe those words, because they are the words of Chirst. Even though she didn't accept our message, we still felt the Spirit, which means we did our job. I love the Book of Mormon. |
